High fired stoneware clay. Each piece is dipped in a red shino glaze, patterns drawn with wax resist and then a final glaze sprayed over top. Work is fired in a gas kiln to 2345 degrees which results in an extremely durable finished piece. Each piece is hand thrown and designed to be used and enjoyed in daily life. Pots are food, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
